National Thrift Shop Day

Have you heard? Today is National Thrift Shop Day! This is so exciting because most of my clothes have come from thrift shops or consignment shops. Cats out the bag!

Today I want to share some of my favorite thrift finds in hopes it will encourage you to not only support your local thrift shop, but also keep clothing out of the landfills.

Simply Vera by Vera Wang

This is my go to dress. I have worn this to weddings, dinner dates, luncheons, you name it, this dress has worked for me. I found this dress in excellent condition for $15.00 at my local thrifty shopper. Yep, this beauty has paid for itself over and over again. Also it has pockets. This dress wins every time.

Banana Republic

I bought this dress on Thred Up for $25. It is 100% silk and is really pretty to wear for a formal occasion. I haven't wore it as much as my go to up there, but it definitely gets the job done!  Again, this dress has pockets!

Matilda Jane

I found this steal on clearance at my local thrift store with the tags still on. I wear this a lot in the winter when it gets chilly. It is super flattering and only cost me $5.

Mon Ami

This dress is so versatile. I wear it a lot in the fall with a pair of leggings and boots. I have also worn it dressed down with flip flops. This was the dress I wore for my birthday in December when I was 4 months pregnant with baby bloob. I spent a cool $7 on it from a reuse shop on Instagram. Yep! You can buy clothes on Instagram these days folks!

Maurices

Another dress with pockets! There seems to be a trend right? I found this one on a clearance rack at my local thrift shop and I have worn it for a job interview, a work trip, and to a party. It is a sweatshirt material that keeps you nice and warm in the winter. This one was $15.

What kind of thrift store finds have you found that is in constant rotation in your closet?

Make sure you get out there today (and everytime you're in need of some new clothes) and support your local thrift shop!
