Oh Maine! (Picture Heavy)

I was out of town last week on a mini Vacation. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you got to see a glimpse of my trip. Instead of posting a long drawn out post on it, I am just going to leave you with a picture story of my time in Maine!

Because, Blueberry! Duh
I loved this! I want to start one in my city!

There is always a light house to see in Maine. So pretty!

Sunsets were GORGEOUS!
You CAN'T go to Maine and not eat Lobstah! (And beer apparently)

Spend a few hours on Campobello Island in Canada. Visited the Roosevelt Cottage. So PRETTY!

This pool was AMAZING!

That about sums up my trip to Maine. I visited 4 destinations on my 4 day trip. I started it in Portland, then headed up to Lubec, which is a little fishing town on the eastern most point in the US. We headed into New Brunswick, Canada and onto Campobello Island.  (This was only across the bay, a 10 minute drive from Lubec. We then spent our last night in Bar Harbor. I think I spend about 25 - 30 hours in the car over the course of 4 days. NOT FUN!

Maine has such beautiful landscape, its no wonder their license plates say "Vacationland" on them. I would recommend visiting, but not traveling around so much! Pick one place and enjoy it.

I  hope you all enjoyed some of my vacation pics! Happy Thursday!

  2. Mini vacations are the best! That shot of lobster pasta is making me hungry. I've been to Bar Harbor before and taken the ferry over to Yarmouth Nova Scotia. So glad you got to visit Canada - lovely photo of my flag!

    1. It was so much fun! And yes that lobster mac and cheese was to die for! I really love visiting Canada. I am really close to Niagara Falls living in upstate NY. It was really nice to visit another area. Beautiful scenery! Thanks for stopping by!

  9. I absolutely LOVE Maine. I went up there about 8 years ago and want to go back. I remember getting up to watch the sun come up. The people there are so nice. I liked to have fell over when I approached the edge of the sidewalk and the cars came to a complete halt so I could cross. I however didn't realize that the COLD up there was alot COLDER then it is here in Kentucky. Man I froze my backside off.

Thanks for sharing and the sunset pic you took is GORGEOUS!!!!

New follower btw from www.trinaoneil.com. I will also be doing a post soon a trip to Maine. Thanks for sharing. :-)

    1. It is absolutely gorgeous up there but I do agree it does get REALLY cold! I am from Pennsylvania and I am currently living in New York and it does get cold here, but they sure take a beating in the Winter up there! Thank you so much for stopping by and can't wait to read your post on Maine!
