I don't feel sick like I used to, no headaches, stomachaches, nothing. Aside from a fairly yucky cold about four months back (which I attribute to being cooped up in a classroom with forty people for eight weeks), I've been illness free and happy and comfortable.

I've heard that taking occasional detoxifying baths can help. The one I tried was about two cups of Epsom salt (I think it'd be less if you're a smaller person), a box of baking soda, and a teaspoon or so of crushed ginger. I felt better after it, but I also did a fast that day, trying to rid my body of yuck, and start fresh (I need to do this again one day soon... now that I am back to eating healthy again). My roommate did the same bath the other day and said he felt great afterwards. Apparently you can get essential oils and put them in there as well - like lavender for calming, I believe.

Obviously a bath isn't going to make your stresses all go away... but there's supposed to be stuff in there that helps to relieve tensions. I always thought that was all a crock of shit before, lol, but I did legitimately feel better.Sidnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13367272656595536368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8773756561065365921.post-66499544169548621962014-05-14T08:04:13.679-04:002014-05-14T08:04:13.679-04:00I am so glad you posted this! I went to the doctors with headaches etc a few years back and they said "oh it's just stress" and I got no advice whatsoever, two years on I'm still sick and tired of being sick and tired as you put it and really don't know what to change to make life less stressful! Great post though, I don't think many people understand what actual stress is and the impact it can have on the body!

Hayley x

http://hayleyjachz.blogspot.co.uk/Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11328633400900190895noreply@blogger.com
